Straight answers, before you ever have to ask.
What makes Qurania different from other online Quran academies?
Qurania assigns one named, certified Qari to each child for their entire learning journey, instead of rotating tutors between children to manage cost. Parents also get milestone-based progress reports as standard, with a flat monthly Hadiya and no long-term contract.
How much does Qurania cost?
Qurania's monthly Hadiya depends on lesson frequency: Qaida (2 lessons a week) starts at $30/month, Tajweed (3 a week) at $42, and Hifz (5 a week) at $60, with equivalent pricing in GBP, CAD and AUD. Founding families lock 70% off, there's a 15% sibling discount, and a free trial lesson comes first.
Do online Quran teachers get switched partway through the course?
At Qurania, no. Every child is matched with one certified Qari who stays with them from Noorani Qaida through fluent tajweed. Teacher rotation is a common complaint about other academies — it's the exact problem Qurania's model was built to solve.
Is there a free trial lesson?
Yes. Qurania offers one free trial lesson with the real, certified Qari who would go on to teach your child — not a generic sales demo. You can assess fit and ask questions before enrolling.
Can parents track their child's Quran learning progress?
Yes. Qurania provides milestone-based progress reports, so parents always know exactly what stage their child has reached without needing to sit in on every session.
What age can my child start?
Most children begin Noorani Qaida between ages 4 and 7, though Qurania accepts learners of any age, including complete beginners and children continuing from a previous academy.
Are female Qaris available for girls?
Yes. Families can request a female Qari for their daughter, and that preference is honored for the entire learning journey — not just the trial lesson.
What happens if we need to pause lessons for a while?
Since there is no long-term contract, families can pause or cancel at any time. When you return, Qurania will do its best to reassign the same Qari your child already knows.
What if my child doesn't connect with their Qari?
Tell us, plainly, and we'll rematch — once, carefully, not as a revolving door. The match matters more to us than to anyone, because our whole model depends on it lasting. In the trial lesson you'll usually feel within twenty minutes whether the connection is there.
My child is shy, or further behind than other kids their age. Will this work?
Shy and behind are the two children our model serves best. There's no classroom to hide in and no group to keep pace with — one Qari, one child, moving at exactly your child's speed. Many children who went quiet in group academy classes speak up for the first time in a one-to-one lesson.
We tried an online academy before and it didn't stick. Why would this be different?
Usually it wasn't your child that didn't stick — it was the teacher, who changed every few weeks. A child won't invest in someone who keeps leaving. Qurania is built to remove that variable: the Qari in the trial lesson is the one who would continue with your child. Everything else about the experience flows from that one difference.
