Terms of Service
These terms govern the one-to-one Quran classes Qurania provides to children on behalf of enrolling parents and guardians. We have written them to be read, not skimmed past. Last updated: 22 August 2026.
1. Who these terms apply to
You must be a parent or legal guardian aged 18 or over to enroll a child. Enrollment creates an agreement between you (the parent) and Qurania for the provision of lessons to your child. Your child is always a participant by your invitation, never a party to billing.
2. The free trial lesson
- The first lesson is a genuine 30-minute class with the Qari who would continue teaching your child — it is not a sales demonstration.
- The trial is free, requires no payment details, and carries no obligation to continue.
- We may decline or reschedule a trial where a suitable Qari is not available in your requested time zone or language preference; if that happens we will say so plainly rather than substitute a different teacher quietly.
3. Lessons and scheduling
- Plans are defined by weekly frequency: Qaida (2 lessons/week), Tajweed (3 lessons/week), Hifz (5 lessons/week). A month means the calendar month; lesson dates are agreed with your Qari directly.
- Lessons are 30 minutes each unless a longer duration was agreed in writing for your plan.
- If you miss a scheduled lesson, your Qari will offer one make-up slot in the same month where possible; repeated no-shows may eventually require schedule renegotiation, never a penalty fee.
- If your Qari cancels, the lesson is rescheduled at mutual convenience or credited against the following month.
4. The Hadiya (fees) and billing
- Fees are the monthly amounts published on our Hadiya page in your currency. Founding-family pricing, where offered, is locked for as long as enrollment is continuous.
- Billing is monthly in advance through the payment channel agreed with you at enrollment. We will never ask for card details over WhatsApp or Facebook chat.
- Sibling discount: 15% off the standard Hadiya for each additional child from the same family.
- Fee changes do not affect existing locked pricing; any change otherwise is notified at least 30 days before it takes effect.
5. Pausing, cancelling, refunds
- No contract, no lock-in. You may pause or cancel at any time by telling us before your next billing date.
- Cancellation stops future billing immediately; unused lessons already paid for in the current month are honoured until the end of that month.
- If a paid month cannot proceed because no suitable Qari is available, we refund it in full.
- Pausing for exams, travel, or Ramadan preserves your founding price when you return; extended pauses beyond 90 days may be subject to Qari availability on return, which we will discuss honestly before you decide.
6. Conduct and safeguarding
Our Child Safeguarding Policy forms part of these terms. We may suspend lessons immediately if conduct during lessons threatens a child's welfare — theirs or another's — and we will always explain why. If you are unhappy with your Qari, tell us: one careful rematch is part of the service, not a failure.
7. Content and materials
Lesson materials, milestone maps, and this website remain Qurania's intellectual property. You may share milestone reports within your family freely; republishing site content commercially requires written permission.
8. Liability and availability
- Lessons depend on internet infrastructure neither of us controls. If technical problems prevent a lesson, it is rescheduled — that is the remedy, and experience says it works.
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, Qurania's total liability under these terms is limited to the fees paid in the three months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability for anything that cannot lawfully be limited (including death or personal injury caused by negligence).
- Quran education complements — never replaces — schooling, medical advice, or psychological care your child may need.
9. Changes, governing law, contact
We may update these terms; material changes are notified to enrolled families 30 days ahead, and continuing lessons after that date constitutes acceptance. These terms are governed by the laws applicable at Qurania's place of establishment; consumer-protection rights in your country of residence always apply in addition, never less.
